![]() ![]() In order to do it, start one of the Trimble Link's Export commands, such as Export Alignment. When the header is split over only two lines, as in the attached v11.4 header file, everything seems to be OK.Īlso, if you are not familiar with Trimble's stuff, dumping the alignment to a file on your local computer is somewhat less-than-intuitive. This seems to cause a problem in at least some of the earlier versions. I have attached the appropriate header for Survey Controller v11.4.Īlso note that the v12.2 header is split over four lines. header with a "good" header that matches your data collector. Then open the RXL file in any text editor, and replace the "bad" v12.2. Instead of dumping your alignments directly to the data collector, dump them to a file on your computer instead. No matter what version of software is in your data collector, or what version of file you tell Trimble Link to dump, it will always dump alignments into v12.2 RXL files. ![]() But the header says it is a v12.2 file, and data collectors ignore the data in the file unless they are running Survey Controller v12.2. As far as I can tell, this is the only part of the file that changed between versions - all of the data is still in exactly the same format. No problem exporting corridors, but the Alignments have an issue. Turns out Trimble Link for C3D 2009 will only export Alignments to v12.2. ![]()
